You Came To Us In 2020.

You came to us in 2020.

The oddest year we've known yet.

A time where we were forced to live simpler lives. We were literally forced to shut down, schedule nothing, and just be.

A time where we see so much unrest and so much pain. We were forced to open our eyes and to listen. Forced to look eye to eye at truths that are not beautiful.

A time where it seems something apocalyptic and unheard of, like murder hornets are headed our way.

But you also came to us in 2020.

The most perfect year yet.

A time where we were forced to live simpler lives. During a time, where we are not tricked by the things that appear as a priority. Instead, it is just us. We, our family, is priority. We are surrounded by the love of those close to us, and fill our days with snuggles and more snuggles.

A time where we see so much unrest and so much pain in this world. And it causes us to STOP, and truly think about the people we want to be. Think about who we want to surround ourselves with. And it causes us to check in, and make sure we are teaching our small humans, to be exceptional human beings. Human beings with a voice of strength, but also with a heart that is ready to spread love and a "hi, how are you?" to whoever comes their way.

Yes, you came to us in a year, that seems to be wonky to those of us who have been here longer than you have.

I'd say it was perfect timing my love bug.
